About Me
Hailing from a small city of Jamshedpur and belonging from a middle class , I found profound happiness when I got a job in my own hometown i.e. Jamhedpur which is known to be the home of TATA’s.
When I joined THE TATA PIGMENTS LIMITED in 2016, I discovered joining in the very first week that it is a very old plant in Jamshedpur of the era of 1920’s. It is mostly a manual plant and all process are mostly driven by man force rather machines. One of the integral area of our plant is the effluent treatment plant which is mainly responsible to correct the effluent generated and discharge the same matching the standards as set by the CPCB.
I came up with the idea of automating the monitoring of the plant to some extent. This helped greatly to increase the awareness of the operators working in the plant to keep a quick
check on the operational parameters and to take corrective action. This stupendously helped in monitoring operational parameters intermittently and also helped to transmit data to
CPCB servers intermittently. It also improved operational discipline to a great extent.
Further to this, I also suggested various modifications to the operational parameters of one of the integrated machineries of our production unit namely YOSFD which helped us to achieve
desired thru put and quality matching the quality standards as set by our elite customers. Recently I have also started working on the TOC (Theory of constraints) implementation which mainly encompasses to cater automation varied operating areas of the plant in collaboration with TQM department of TATA STEEL.
Currently I am pursuing PGPM from GLIM Chennai.
